Bundarra Contracting Pty Ltd is a progressive company with 15 years’ experience in mining services, road and civil construction and land management throughout the Western Australian Goldfields.
We are currently looking for an experienced, professional and highly motivated Site Supervisor to work at a Goldfields’ based mine site.
This position is responsible for the successful organisation and supervision of all Bundarra personnel on site and contract objectives in relation to operations, maintenance, employee relations, time, cost, safety, training, environment and quality.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- At least 5 years’ mine site supervisory experience;
- Advanced computer skills – proficient in the use of Microsoft office;
- Experience maintaining safety and environmental management systems, driving a strong safety culture
- Excellent interpersonal and client relationship skills; including written and verbal communications and the handling of confidential information
- Highly developed organizational skills; analytical with a common-sense approach;
- Strong leadership qualities; proven experience with the performance management and development of personnel under direct supervision;
- Experience operating trucks and machinery
- Mechanical skills and knowledge (highly desirable);
- Possess a balance of practical and professional skills
Role Responsibilities
- Contract administration including information systems and reporting requirements
- Manage safety, training and environmental systems
- Manage, control and supervise site operations and work areas
- Implement equipment repair and maintenance schedule
- Manage site budgets relating to maintenance, consumables, PPE and stationary
- Maintain strong positive relations with client, co-contractors and personnel
- Where and when required be hands on with operations delivery
- Where capable and competent assist with equipment repair & maintenance
- Provide ongoing direction, mentoring, training and support to enhance the team and drive continual improvement
Competencies
- At least 5 years’ mine site supervisory experience
- HR license (mandatory)
- Advanced computer skills – particularly Microsoft office (mandatory)
- Loader ticket (mandatory)
- Safety & training qualifications (desirable)
- First aid (desirable)
- Mechanical trade certificate (desirable)
- Machinery tickets (desirable)
